Why an independent inspector matters

In Texas, the company that assesses mold on a project can't also be the one paid to remove it. Even so, many "free inspections" come from companies that make money on the cleanup. We don't do cleanup, so our report shows only what the testing found. If there's no problem, we tell you. If there is one, you get a clear written plan you can take to any licensed remediator.

Where we find mold most often

Attics and crawlspaces (roof leaks, poor ventilation, condensation) · Bathrooms (shower leaks, moisture behind tile) · Kitchens (slow leaks under sinks and behind dishwashers) · After water damage (under flooring and carpet, inside drywall) · HVAC systems (drain pans, ductwork and air handlers)

Signs you should get tested

  • A musty smell that won't go away

  • Stains, bubbling paint or warped baseboards

  • A recent leak, flood or water heater failure

  • Allergy-like symptoms that ease when you leave the house

  • Buying, selling or renting a home and wanting peace of mind

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE VISIT?

A licensed Mold Assessment Consultant visits your property to check for conditions that support mold growth, using humidity readings, thermal imaging and moisture measurements. Samples are taken only when findings warrant them and you approve the sampling and cost. Contact us for the earliest available appointment.

WHAT DOES YOUR ASSESSMENT INCLUDE?

  • On-site inspection and moisture assessment

  • Recommended sampling with your approval; air testing typically uses an outdoor comparison sample and an indoor sample

  • Laboratory report and mold inspection report when testing is performed

  • Remediation protocol if needed

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY RESULTS?

Laboratory results are typically available within 24 hours. The consultant then prepares a professional report based on conditions observed at the time of inspection and the laboratory results. Confirm the written-report delivery timeframe when booking.
